Our Canadian Country Ambassador, Cate Carlyle works in the Curriculum Resource Centre at the Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has sent us this quick description and some stunning photographs to enjoy:
The Curriculum Resource Centre (CRC) is a specialized education resource library which primarily serves the Mount Saint Vincent University’s Faculty of Education and Child & Youth Study Departments but is open to all. Its aim is to provide educators and teachers in training, from preschool to high school levels, with the resources they need to plan programs for today’s learners. The CRC offers a wide range of curriculum support materials, including: curriculum guides, textbooks, teachers’ resources, picture books, French language materials, DVDs, software, manipulatives, kits and more. An adjoining computer lab fulfills all technological needs as well.
