Today’s postcard comes to us from Anita Vandenberghe, Information Specialist at the Goodfellow Centre. Thanks Anita!

Paihia is a little village in the Bay Of Islands – situated on the northern end of the North Island – and I spotted this little free library right on the waterfront. Paihia is a busy tourist attraction and it has heaps of backpackers and motels so the library is well used by people in transit. I saw books in different languages and while I took photos several people popped in and flicked through the collection.
