IFLA Attendance Grants – You might be eligible

We know many of our participants would love to attend the IFLA World Library and Information Congress and for many of us, it is often out of reach. This year it is in Cape Town South Africa, and we have serious conference destination envy – just check out the gorgeous video below and you’ll see what we mean.

In case you missed it – there are a few attendance grants available that you might just be eligible to win – so we wanted to share them with you.

First up, The Academic and Research Libraries Section (ARL) is offering THREE (3) Attendance Grants for the IFLA Congress in Cape Town 2015 to information professionals from these regions:

  • Africa
  • Latin America
  • Asia/Pacific region

Each grant covers the registration fee of Euro 470 as well as support for travel and/or accommodation up to Euro 700. Deadline for submissions is Friday, 27 February 2015  and you can find out more information at their website.

There are also 20 IFLA World Library and Information Congress participation grants available, which covers the cost of the conference registration fees – so you just have to get yourself there. Application for the participation grants close 1 March 2015, and you can find out more here.

Are you off to Cape Town to attend the IFLA WLIC? If so, we’d love to hear about all about it!
