We’ve always believed that the International Librarians Network comprises the cream of the crop of library land – we’ve had industry leaders and new graduates come through our program, contributing their knowledge and ideas to partners and the ILN community.
That’s why we were very pleased to see Martin Julius Perez, one of our returning participants, awarded the Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship. The Fellows are supported to attend a program in the US that explores library topics, meets with industry leaders, and includes library visits. It’s exciting to see programs like this aimed at early career librarians in developing countries, and even more exciting to see several familiar names on the list of current and past Fellows. A huge congratulations from us to Martin and the other Fellows!
Are you an early career librarian from a developing country? If so, consider applying for the 2016 Fellowships. Applications close in February 2015, which gives you enough time to craft a winning application.
Congratulaion Martin!
Thumbs up to Martin! I will also be part of this prestigious award together with Martin.
Congratulations Martin and Nomsa!
Well done Nomsa!

Thank you for your congratulations! After the fellowship, I hope to share what I learn. 🙂
