This is a photo of my workspace. I know it doesn’t look like a librarian’s desk. To be honest it looks miserable, boring or sophisticated (if you want to be polite). But I have a reasonable explanation – I have worked there since 4th September because I changed a department in my library. Recently I was employed in the Acquisition and Cataloguing Department of the Silesia Library. Now I work in the section of the same institution which cares for public libraries, represent their demands to the local self-government. A library advocacy will be known by me very deeply. My ILN experience which I have got as the Poland coordinator and participant is a huge help and a good point to start.
Returning to the picture. I promise I think about an arrangement of my new workspace. Things which you see: a computer, notes, pens, a book about library advocacy, a lamp and a small calendar will be added by other important objects.
