Be quick! There are only 3 days left to apply for the next round of the International Librarians Network (ILN) peer mentoring program.
If you are new to the ILN, here’s the deal:
The ILN is a facilitated program aimed at helping librarians develop international networks. We believe that innovation and inspiration can cross borders, and that spreading our networks beyond our home countries can make us better at what we do.
If you sign up to the program, you will be matched with a colleague outside of your country, based on the information you have provided to the program coordinators. This matching will form your peer-mentoring partnership. Your partnership will be supported for 4 months, and during this period we encourage you to communicate with your peer mentor at lease once a fortnight, and to help you with this we will regularly email you discussion points and post material to our blog. Supported partnerships have an end date, however it is our vision that over time you would develop a widening network of ongoing, independent professional relationships.
Applications close at midnight on the 20th of February 2014. Sign up now so you don’t miss out.
